Halloween in Canada isn’t all just candy and costumes. Throughout the month of October there are plenty of spooky, fun, and family-friendly events happening in Niagara featuring traditional Halloween activities and unique autumn entertainment.
Pumpkin Patch
All autumn, Warner Ranch
Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm in Niagara Falls offers a bunch of fun and autumn-centric activities that people of all ages will love. This includes:
- Pumpkin picking
- Petting zoo
- Corn maze
- Belgian horse-drawn wagon ride
- Inflatable bounce house
And for those a little braver, Warner Ranch and Pumpkin Farm also offers a Haunted Hay Ride for the last three weekends in October. The ride is not recommended for children and involves a ride through 50-acres of forest with spooky displays and live actors.
Boo at the Zoo

Safari Niagara’s annual Boo at the Zoo event is the ultimate family-friendly Halloween celebration. This three-day event will feature a ton of exciting activities to check out including:

- Fun house & inflatables
- Kids Bubble/Dance Party in Amphitheatre
- Trick-or-treating around the zoo
Admission to this event is free for children aged 12 and under in costume and $17 for adults with donation of a non-perishable food item.
Halloween Owl Howl

Learn about the fascinating lives of owls and the different species found in the Niagara region at Niagara Parks’ Halloween Owl Howl event in the Niagara Glen. The Canadian Raptor Conservancy will be hosting a meet-and-greet with owls and teaching guests different types of owl calls.
